Stay and Spend

An Taoiseach, Micheál Martin TD, the Minister for Finance, Paschal Donohoe TD, and the Minister for Media, Tourism, Arts, Culture, Sport and the Gaeltacht, Catherine Martin TD recently launched the Stay and Spend scheme.

The Stay and Spend Scheme has been created to support the Irish tourism and hospitality sector to help drive sales during the off-season. Aimed at consumers, the scheme will provide a maximum of €125 in income tax credits to tax-payers who spend up to €625 in restaurants, pubs, hotels, B&Bs and other qualifying businesses, from 1st October 2020 to 30th April 2021, including over the Christmas period.

The RRTA is available on mobile devices with the following operating systems:

  • Android 8.1 onwards
  • iOS 12 onwards.

The RRTA is not compatible with mobile devices using Microsoft operating systems.
