Dublin City Council has progressed plans for a Centre to replace the existing Educational and Interpretive Centre which is not fit for purpose. The design of the new Discovery Centre has been informed by community engagement and will create a powerful place for learning, sharing knowledge and inspiring change to support the objectives of the Nature Reserve, Dublin Bay Biosphere and UNESCO. It will be fully accessible for people of all abilities to visit and gain an understanding of the intricate terrestrial and marine ecosystems that make the Bull Island and Dublin Bay such a special place.

The Centre will illustrate and interpret Bull Island, Dublin Bay, the world network of Biosphere Regions and global climate issues.
