Red Squirrel run team building treasure hunts in beautiful locations for the corporate and incentive travel sectors. One of their favourite locations for a treasure hunt is on Killiney Hill, part of the UNESCO Dublin Bay Biosphere.

These socially distant events encourage teams to work together to solve puzzles, decode clues and complete tricky tasks while taking in the breathtaking 360 degree views of UNESCO Dublin Bay Biosphere and beyond.

Teams of 4 or 5 are set off at staggered times to figure out riddles and crack codes that will lead them to beautiful landmarks like the Obelisk and the Daedalus sculpture. They must also complete tasks that may involve singing with strangers, building a shelter, or solving an anagram.

Participants join the event leaders back at base for the announcing of the winners and prize giving. The whole experience takes about 2 hours with many groups staying around to enjoy the treats at the tea room or Killiney Castle Hotel afterwards.

Red Squirrel’s sustainability statement requires that they leave no trace on the hill after their event and must respect all of the flora and fauna.
