2024 Calendar Competition
The Dublin Bay Biosphere is full of amazing things to see such as our internationally important wildlife and historic and culturally important structures and its also a place for amazing adventures, such as kayaking, rock pooling and snorkelling.
We're looking for young artists up to the age of 18 to share their impressions of the biosphere through their art for our 2024 calendar.
There are 13 x first prizes (cover and monthly winners) who will each receive a €50 vouchers, a limited edition calendar and 50 calendars for their school or organisation.
We also have 15 x runner-up prizes which will feature on one of our collage pages, with each runner-up receiving a €15 voucher and a limited edition calendar.
All winners and runners-up will also be invited to join us for a 'money can't buy' experience. Last year our winners met the Old Irish Goats on Howth.
The deadline for entries is Friday 31st March 2023, please send digital copied of your artwork to firstname.lastname@example.org
Here are things to consider for your artwork
What amazing wildlife can you see locally?
What important structures could you feature?
What activities can you do in Dublin Bay?
What businesses are present?
What time of year are you hoping to capture with your artwork?
You don't need to feature all these things, they're just ideas to get you started and there's no limit on the number of entries you can submit, so you can try lots of different ideas.
