Marram Grass Planting Workshop

Marram grass provides an important ecosystems service by helping to mitigate coastal erosion on beaches backed by sand dune systems. In this workshop, you will learn how to plant marram grass and the critical role plays in protecting our coastline.
Meeting point is the South car-park of Portmarnock beach. Tools will be provided but if you have a spade or shovel please bring it along. Please wear warm clothing.
