0phelia is a North Dublin Docklands native from East Wall who has been making music and writing rhymes since childhood. She is also a Ph.D. researcher at University College Cork, writing and producing various collaborative records, shows, and indie films for the ERC-funded Cipher Project.

0phelia has supported renowned acts such as Pete Rock, Ice Cube, De La Soul, Pharaohe Monch, Tony Allen, Ultramagnetic MC’s, Sage Francis, Robert Glasper, Saul Williams, Maverick Sabre and Damien Dempsey, along with a long list of brilliant Irish unknowns. She released her debut triple single entitled Means of Escape in December 2020, funded by the Arts Council of Ireland.

The Ports, Past and Present project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation programme.
